With the implementation of the HITECH Act which provides financial incentives to hospitals that make meaningful use of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and the involvement of companies like Dell, General Electric (GE), and Verizon, the demand for quality EMR professionals is expected to increase dramatically.
Our Electronic Medical Records Program is a 25-week program that offers hands-on EMR training plus real world experience with an externship that places you in a healthcare facility. As a result, our graduates are eligible for certification by the National Healthcare Association (NHA).
