Many changes are happening in the State of Illinois, there include the State’s recent budget cuts, which have been affecting low income and middle class families. With less money going to programs to help families, there is a way minimize the effect of the crisis on you and your family. National Latino Education Institute, formerly known as Spanish Coalition for Jobs, is Chicagoland’s leader in educational, vocational, and employment services, with an emphasis on Health, Business, and Trades. We’ve scheduled three of our professional training programs in October and November.

 

On October 26th, we will be offering our Business Development Professional Program. This 34-week program provides specialized courses to build a foundation of sales, customer service, and marketing skills. Graduates of the BDP program qualify for careers in a broad range of industries including insurance, finance, marketing, telecommunications, banking and more. Also, students receive skills needed to start a small business.

We have enhanced our trades program called STEM Training for Trades. The program will also start on October 26th. This is a 10-week job training program that will prepare students for trade-related occupations. During the program, students will learn trade related skills, CDL education, and field experience with companies in a range of industries, including transportation, construction, and energy.

pic2Our Medical Office Specialist Program is an accredited 40-week program that starts November 9th. It provides training to prepare its students for work in entry level positions in health care administrative jobs. The training focuses on anatomy, physiology,medical terminology, medical office procedures, and much more.

 

Finally, we are hosting a Career in the Trades Expo on November 5th from 9AM-1PM. Here, you can come learn about various employment and training opportunities in the trades. Pre-registration is required.
